When I loaded the Difficult KS just now today "Note that now you have two days to solve this puzzle (submit before Sunday)" was written at the bottom of the puzzle.

Probably a bug [mad]

I'll check.

Probably just because it says (solution tomorrow) above the puzzle.

I hadn't seen the message at the bottom. I see the message at the top has now been amended, thanks.

I found today's DKS to be uncharacteristically easy to solve via FAS, though the logic steps were a bit different from the norm.

I'll post my FAS breakdown once the solution has been revealed on Sunday.

That's good to know. I looked at it for about ten minutes and failed to make any progress. [unsure] I must try again.

It looks as if the difficulty level of the Friday KS has been ratcheted up again. I had struggled for a while when the difficulty level was initially increased, but then I seemed to have got the hang of it and solved several in a row. But I failed miserably with last Friday's puzzle (I was only able to make progress on the three columns to the right) and I also failed to solve the previous week's puzzle.

If anyone is prepared to post a step by step guide to how they solved this week's puzzle, I'd love to see it.

I tried it a number of times and gave up......but then again I had trouble with the 2 on the previous day as I couldn't get either of them [sad]!!!
