I'm close to having a complete set of puzzles, with only the "Variations" chapter still left.

I'm thinking this should have 20 instead of 10 puzzles (probably split into two chapters),
because so much is possible (operators, sizes, twin / pattern / no-op / from zero / negative / combinations... [blink] )

Do people have any suggestions?

That's good news! Will it be published through Amazon or in PDF format?

I think two chapters of variations is a good idea. I presume you will be including a few bitwise AND puzzles.

I'll probably skip Amazon, so PDF only.

Ideally I'll have time (...) to make it so if you buy the PDF, you can also solve the puzzles online.

At the moment there's one set of 5 binary puzzles (2 with OR, 2 with AND, 1 with both).

I like the idea of being able to solve puzzles online [namaste]

Rather than expanding the variations chapter, you could expand the chapters that have 5 puzzles to have 10 puzzles.

So those would be the chapters:

- exponentiation
- negative numbers
- mod (I reduced it from 10 to 5)
- exponentiation + zero
- binary

?

No no-ops or twins or just plain (no gimmick) numbers?

I feel like it would be fun to have an entire chapter dedicated to binary operations (if there wasn't one in V3). I find binary to be the most enjoyable type of puzzle, except maybe for no-op, and I think it would be great to give them a little more recognition.

A binary no-op then maybe [wink]

Why "BINARY"; why not just plain old no-ops or no-op twins without some kind of extra thrown in?

I have been thinking about something like this... a no-op with other operators [woot]
New user puzzle coming up soon? [huh]

Hi, everybody. I just wanted to let you guys know that I've compiled 2-cell and 3-cell bitwise AND tables. I'm well aware that many users such as beaker aren't particularly "enamored" with bitwise operators. If Patrick DOES decide to include bitwise AND in volume IV, you now have combinations at your beck and call to help you out. The same is true if any user-created puzzles have bitwise AND once Patrick fixes up the error checking.
