Post new large puzzles book?
Many thanks to Patrik for interesting ideas in expanding the diversity of calcudoku [thumbsup] .
In my opinion, it would be very convenient to solve larger puzzles not on paper, but by entering numbers into a table that pops up on the computer screen and using the entire existing palette of possibilities. It may be possible to use an additional individual code received during the purchase of a pdf book or otherwise.
In addition, this is how we show our green environment by saving nature and reducing waste.

Interesting idea, thanks.

So a book could also be available as an "online puzzle bundle" (or what would be the term).

I'll start a separate topic on this.

edit: this has been done, this is the new topic [lol]

How's this for a table of contents:

- 150 puzzles
- 25 easy, 75 medium, 50 difficult
- sizes 10x10, 12x12, and 15x15
- medium and difficult puzzle solutions can be submitted for points

"special puzzles":
- 6 patterned puzzles in each chapter (2 of each size)
- 6 puzzles from zero in the "medium" and "difficult" chapters

Any comments / ideas / suggestions?

It could also be fun if people would send in some interesting patterns for the patterned puzzles.
(post here, or send via email)

Note that there can't be too many large (6 cells or more) cages.

For example, this is the cage size distribution of the 12x12 on the site:
Code:
size    number of cages
1       11
2       35
3       16
4       1
5       1
6       1

Also, a question: do people find the bi-weekly 15x15 extra puzzle typically easy to solve?

Or would you class it as a "medium", or "difficult" puzzle?

Thanks [thumbup]

Medium, in general, in my opinion.
