Yes.....now all we need is to have the same thing in timed puzzles.....I am sure this would not speed up times but for us slower users it might help the frustration of making a mistake and then having to look for it for the next number of minutes [biggrin]

Maybe what we need is some type of handicap for older people?

Thanks eclipsegirl, but a handicap system on this site I do not think it would work as what would be the cut-off age where one would be deemed OLD(no grey colour to choose)

I think that'd put a pretty big dent in top times as well. You can take more risks on 80/20 cages and it also reduces the time required to scan a row/column for the one missing element by a fraction of a second.

Not sure what it is, I'm guessing it's a bug.

(I was testing some "dark mode" code yesterday)

That, or it's beaker's April Fool's joke?

No joke ....it is real and the distracting part of it is that the cage lines turn red and continue to where, say another number in the same column is the same number one just entered.......I would think this would be very distracting for users when doing larger puzzles (like any puzzle greater or equal to a 7x7)........Happy April Foolls Day.
