Fridays 10 x 10 is my fave by a mile. Although it does seem to be a subscriber only more often than not I still look forward to the weeks I get to do them. I like the killers each day as well as Saturday's 8 x 8 (med & hard) & Sundays 8 x 8 medium.

Not a puzzle or pattern I was looking forward to, just a pleasant surprise: Today's difficult 9x9 has a nice "hand-crafted" feel to it, with a series of really neat inferences to be made [thumbup] (Spoiler warning: Hint in the next paragraph [scared])

Hint [wink] It's turns out to be a good idea to focus on the placement of one number at a time in the puzzle, especially vertically, and then go on to another number.

Yeah I was actually wondering if it was a new pattern that Patrick was testing out because so much of the logic felt repeatable but new at the same time, which is what I think is true of the best patterns.

I could keep it as a pattern.

If hand-crafted, I never would have done the 4 singles in the bottom right though.

The puzzle for reference:

You are right, Patrick. The four boxes can be replaced by one with 19+.
But, shure, that makes it way more difficult!

I want to adding a fourth puzzle to my list.

It is the Sat med 8 x 8. For me, it is one of those relaxing puzzles.

On Tuesdays I like the 8x8 difficult puzzle (with bitwise OR) and the extra puzzle, which is also 8x8. Can't pinpoint exactly what's so enticing about the latter; probably something about the degree of difficulty and the "flow" it has to it.

For instance, today's 8x8 difficult and extra puzzles are both grrreat [thumbup]

I know I'm repeating myself (from 22 Oct last year, to be specific) but today's 8x8 difficult (with bitwise OR) and extra puzzles puzzles are just breathtaking [thumbsup] [thumbup]
Thank God (and Patrick) it's Tuesday :-)

This is becoming surreal now [scared] How are today's difficult 6x6 and medium 8x8 also that entertaining?
The former often frustrates me, but on this Super Tuesday I experienced the Exalted State of Flow throughout the puzzle [namaste]
It felt like I was Riding a Wave all the way to the solution (even though I'm a bit sleep-deprived at the moment, but maybe that helps in some weird way) [tongue]

Is it to late to buy a lottery ticket where you are?
