Post subject:  Which book should be the next book?

I've been trying to decide what type of book to do next, initially
thinking something like a "holiday puzzle book" with sudoku + calcudoku + killer sudoku.

Other ideas are:
- a book with "ultra difficult" puzzles (a bit gimmicky maybe)
- multiple books with puzzles in different sizes / difficulty levels (it looks like one author
is already swamping Amazon with such books)
- an online system where you can compile your own book: pick sets of the puzzles
you like, then download a PDF
- ?

Preferences & suggestions welcome [thumbsup]

I like the idea of being able to download the puzzles that interest me plus I also have the opportunity to try other more difficult puzzles.......with a book, one is "stuck with" all the puzzles he/she cannot solve..........I am partial to twins up to 10x10's and the 10x10's patterned of today.

Another option: simply a volume 3 of the "121 Advanced" book (once a book is
ready it is relatively straight-forward to produce another volume with the same setup).

I do not mind it if some puzzles do not earn points for this site.
I think to appeal to more people it is good to start with easier puzzles so that one can learn from them, and include those solutions in the book.

I will admit that I only do the puzzles that earn points for this site.
I am grateful that several of the older books were in PDF format and I could print out the portion of those books with those puzzles.
(Now to scour used book stores for the two books that are no longer available)

I think the Killer Sudoku book was fine and enjoyed doing the puzzles and earning those points.
But I think that since this site is more geared toward Calcudoku you should stick with mainly those puzzles.

My favorite puzzles are the patterned puzzles of any size, the twin puzzles of any size, and killer sudoku.
I am not interested in plain sudoku puzzles.
I only do the puzzles with points; the site offers more than enough daily puzzle challenges!
I prefer the pdf downloads.

(edit by pnm: I moved the question about the book puzzle points to a separate topic: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=682,
just to keep this thread "on topic")

I vote for a new book of twins puzzles!

Good idea. Suggestion: 61 puzzles with similar (high) level as in volume 2, scoring points, and 60 additional puzzles of all types with solutions in the book (in .pdf format if possible).
