You're welcome, beaker. Absurd though it may seem, sleeping is one of the best ways to recover from an infection. Listen to your body and take it easy! I wish you the best at your upcoming doctor's visit(s) and a speedy recovery once again.

Cheers,
skeeter 84

Thanks skeeter 84.......woke up at 10:00 AM after sleeping 10 hours, had breakfast and still felt tired so went back to bed and just woke up and still feel like I am about to go to sleep again.....good thing I am seeing my doc tomorrow .....now to stay awake to complete today's puzzles ( I have heard that people of my age and older seem to sleep more, but today has been absurd !!)

Hopefully, that’s a sign that you are on the mend! Please let us know how you get on with the doctor tomorrow.

Paul and Skeeter are right. Sleeping is a good thing when you are sick. When you are not using your energy doing things, the body can work at fighting off the infection. Sleeping is good when you are sick.

I know you do take care of yourself. Please let us know how it goes.
