Post subject:  inappropriate ads?

I received a report of an inappropriate ad appearing on the site.

The ad did not have the small clickable "adsense info" triangle at the top right,
and no "X" there as well (to remove the ad).

This leads me to believe the user's browser/OS is hijacked by a "bad plugin" / general malware
(i.e. it was not an ad provided by Google).

But still: if you do see an ad that shouldn't be there, please let me know. Google now provides
good tools for checking _all_ ads that appear on the site, so I can block ones that should be blocked..

Recently there have been Lending Tree ads which keep informing me how "Trump is on a roll", and there's no X to get rid of them. Refreshing the screen doesn't seem to work either. Anything that extols Trump should be gotten rid of, IMO.

Odd that there was no X to get rid of the ad.

All ads are supplied by Google, so there should be an X, and the "why this ad?" info button.

If you see one again, could you send me a screenshot?

And maybe also the link the ad leads to?
(you don't have to click it, you can right-click it and select "copy link location")
