Re: some Apple users willing to test?
Hi Patrick
As I mostly use my iPad or iPhone when solving puzzles, I'll be happy to test the app.
Cheers Paul

Thanks. You'll need to install the Apple "TestFlight" app on your ipad and/or iphone. I'll add your email to the list of testers, after which you'll get automatic notifications when a new version can be tested. (assuming your email in my database is the same as the one you use for Apple)

Re: some Apple users willing to test?
Ok. I've loaded it on my iPad as this is what I mainly use.

If I manage to get all today's puzzles solved, I'll have another look at it later today. My initial thoughts are that it looks good and I like the added feature where pencil marks are positioned by reference to their position on a 1-9 grid i.e. 123 on top row, 456 on next row and so on. I also like the feature where pencil marks turn red if they are no longer possible after another entry is made in the same row/column. Are these features that you are thinking of introducing on this site?

Are these features that you are thinking of introducing on this site? Given that some code is shared between the two, it shouldn't be that difficult to add these options to the site as well

Re: some Apple users willing to test?
bumping this again, I still need more Apple users to test.. (I have one Apple tester so far, and about 25 Android testers) It is possible that the barrier for Apple users is too high, because they also have to install this "Testflight" app

Re: some Apple users willing to test?
It's working fine for me. I'm not sure there's a lot of difference in terms of difficulty between the light, medium and heavy puzzles, but I've done a relatively small sample, so it's probably a bit soon to be drawing conclusions in that regard.
Also, I've only tested it on my iPad as I have very little space on my iPhone, so I'm reluctant to download new apps unless absolutely necessary.
