I wonder how many numbers have been filled in correctly. Must be around 1 billion, if not slightly more than that.

I have here 681,199,898 numbers, not counting the timed puzzles..

All newsletters have been emailed now, except for the Japanese one.

Did they arrive ok?

That is much lower than I thought. While I expected the 4x4s in particular to be done much more than say the 12x12s, I assumed a relatively modest 50 numbers to be filled each puzzle on average
But the timed puzzles do count towards the number of puzzles solved right? (at least that was my assumption).

How many of those 19 million puzzles have been 4x4s?

Mindboggling numbers. Congrats on generating these numbers Patrick!

And yes, my email was okay with the puzzle (English).

Just a quick count, counting 16 for the 4x4, 25 for the 5x5, and so on.

I'll try to come up with more accurate numbers (the timed puzzle info is kept in separate tables, for example)

Now that you announced that there should be one, I salvaged mine from the spam folder. Thanks! [thumbsup]

How is the largest Calcudoku puzzle ever produced a spam message... [crying] [crying] [crying]

Hello,
I am Japanese. I always enjoy your Calcudoku web site.
I received the email newsletter with 19*19 puzzle and discover this forum.
I am not good at English, but I tried to translate the text on email. Is it too late?

I am not certain my translate, so I suggest that you send with not only this Japanese text but also English text you wrote, too.

There's no time limit on submitting the puzzle.

I think renn was talking of helping with translation into Japanese, not of submitting the puzzle.

Well, to be honest, the letter did look suspicious [tongue] A couple of random words in the subject, nearly empty body and a document as an attachment – doesn't that look like a typical spam message?
Perhaps the greeting should have been within the message body, not only inside the PDF.

True, I got lazy. It's a lot of work to produce this in 7 different languages..
(didn't do Chinese yet)
