And shouldn't the achievement be to solve 12 12x12 on the day of publication?

Yes, that's the condition.

A progress counter has been added (though everyone started at zero [blush] )

edit: ah, only now I see you put twelve. Good idea [thumbup]

My counter is showing as 1/10. I thought the target was 12 and I’ve solved all 8 12x12s so far this year on the day of publication.

No, the target was 10 (someone suggested 12, which is not a bad suggestion).

Also, the counter started from the moment the counting code was in there. I suppose I could
compute how many people have done so far, and initialize the counters with that value,
but for now I can't be bothered [lol]

My BABY STEPS achievement had a green checkmark yesterday, but now that I continued solving puzzles the checkmark disappeared, and the counter began displaying: 1/1, then 2/1, 3/1, etc [confused]

I assume that people who do all the easy puzzles on a daily would now have 3/1 showing for the achievement counter.

It would be possible to have progress counters for the speed and streak achievements, too; don't know how interested people would be.

Patrick,
There is a new achievement for solving a puzzle in each of the four "Calcudoku Advanced" books

The people who have turned in all the book puzzles clearly achieved this. Is there any way to make their work retroactively become eligible for this achievement?
