I can remember the wonderful book "The Complete Spectrum ROM Disassembly", at that time like a bible for many.
And you could extend the 48K to 80 K (16K of ROM plus 64K of RAM, with two pages of 32K each, selectable with a switch, with an indicating led, an invention that a friend bought for me in the surroundings of London.
