Re: 25 MILLION SOLVED
Thanks to Patrick for making an achievement for solving the 25x25 puzzle. I also thank fzpowerman for making this whopper of a puzzle. I'm looking forward to solving it and bagging that Everest achievement!

Re: 25 MILLION SOLVED
That puzzle is now officially driving me insane. I've made two further methodical step by step attempts, spending several hours in total at this stage and have still managed to get stuck each time!

Re: 25 MILLION SOLVED
Hi, paulv66 - I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling with the 25x25 puzzle. I recently posted 25X25 factor tables under "solving strategies and tips" if you need help with the multiplication cages. skeeter84 https://www.calcudoku.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1405

The problem I have is not to do with figuring out the combinations in the cages. I think it’s just the sheer size of the puzzle. Ive been solving it column by column and I thought I had figured out correctly what numbers went into each cell. But I ended up with an almost perfect grid and then found that the last few numbers led to duplications in a couple of rows. I spent way too much time on it today and I’m going to leave it for a day or two before attempting it again.
