Great article Patrick. People in Ireland are horrified at what’s happening and there was a strong message of support for Ukraine at the start of yesterday's international rugby match in Dublin.

What we all must do as individuals is show solidarity for the Ukraine by making our feelings clear and ensuring that our politicians do likewise and by providing whatever financial and other support we can provide, both individually and through our government.

And whatever pressure can be brought to bear on Russia must happen without delay. That includes banning all Russian teams and individuals from international competitions in order to make it clear to them that they will be treated as outcasts until this atrocity is stopped. The hope is that this will cause the Russians to turn against Putin and overthrow him.

The war is a terrible thing, much worse than any pandemia. I believed that no more risks for the global security were going to appear in this XXI century.

Since last morning I play CALCUDOKU under the Ukrainian flag.
( A sort of support, like a demonstration on the main square of my
home-town, wearing a blue - yellow shirt or something peaceful
else )
When more CALCUDOKUNISTS will, the Eastern -Europe Ranking
List gets an overwhelming majority of blue-yellow flags, a warm
support to all our Ukrainian FELLOW-CALCUDOKUNISTS & ALL
OTHERS suffering this brutal unnecessary war.
