I still have to update the records for people who already have 3 (or more) annual subscriptions, please be patient [blink]

Does the 51 Advanced Puzzles Vol II have puzzles that can be turned in for points on this site?

As I checked the thread that BSchwart started, the original volume of 51 Advanced Puzzles does not have any such puzzles.

I wasn't planning on doing that.

But maybe people would prefer if this was the case?

For the more difficult ones only for example?

I know this would reward people like me who have been on the site almost since inception of this site; BUT, I think this discriminates against those who have not and therefore would not be eligible for the extra points........I think, you, pnm have given everybody a lot of ways to get extra points through your books........in other words, users can either purchase books to get more points or not.........but the above does not give recent users access to these points and therefore discrimination occurs,,,,,,,,,not fair!

I respectfully disagree with Beaker.

If the downloads do not have puzzles that I can turn in for points, I won't do them.

I am addicted to this site, but I also have a real life.

When I have received the downloads, or books, I only spend time on the puzzles that earn points.
I think it encourages a person to continue on despite the the knowledge that I will never get close to the top because I joined a little more than one year ago.

What is this "life" you speak of [confused] [scared]

I should add some kind of "half life" calculation to the points... :-)

Ok, for the 90 (!) people who have been subscribers for 3 years or more, the download link
to the new book is now available on the account page:

http://www.calcudoku.org/ops/account

I hope everybody likes it [thumbup]

Edit: the final 11 puzzles are each worth 10 points [cool]

Now I have to wait until next April when my (annual) subscription runs outs

Thank you, Patrick

I did not ask for that. [omg]

I am scared I would be a target of much resentment [scared]
