I'm thinking of publishing another Killer Sudoku book, again with 250 puzzles.

To those of you who've done the puzzles in the "Huge Killer Sudoku book": what
should change, if anything?

thanks [thumbup]

I've done many of the puzzles in that book. It's not entirely clear to me how you assess difficulty level (may have something to do with the number of steps your solver takes), but it seems to me that some of the Tricky puzzles are more difficult than the Difficult ones (that earn points). I don't really have any wishes, except that you do indeed publish another Killer Sudoku book! [biggrin]

That was the first book I completed.

I didn't even attempt it until I had learned how to to the difficult ones on this site.

For whatever reason, I found the very last puzzle in the book to be extremely challenging.
If all the puzzles had been as challenging as the final puzzle was, it would have put me off doing books.

From the feedback I've received so far, it'll probably be a book with the following puzzles:

- 50 medium
- 50 tricky
- 90 difficult
- 10 16x16

(so a total of 200 instead of 250 puzzles, I figured the harder puzzles need more space)

The "Huge Killer Sudoku Book" had 25 warmup puzzles, 50 easy, 50 medium, 50 tricky, and 75 difficult.
