It’s in the south western corner of Ireland. Was Bandon a typo?

Are the achievements why my computer is bogging down so much when playing calcudoku lately?

Bandon was not a typo......I just thought it was funny that I spent my early years in a city called Brandon (Manitoba, Canada)

No, the achievements code adds some load to the server when a puzzle is solved.

It has no effect on the load on your computer.

This is an addiction. This gets crazy when Real Life gets in the way. I am scared for times of Family gatherings. With Covid, I get to be left alone and do my puzzles. How sad.

This has morphed from a thread about the new achievements feature to one about addiction to puzzles [huh]

I hope the achievements don't add to it (at least there are no "extreme" ones)

I take it from the above comment that you are NOT going to add “Solved all regular and extra puzzles in a calendar year” to the list of achievements. :-)

The one against time seems absolutely extreme for me; I doubt I've beaten these times ever in my life [unsure]
