if Patrick is going to celebrations, I do not want it for every puzzle.
I would want to disable that option.

If Patrick made celebrations for certain point goals (every 50K points?), or achievements like being no 1 in the Books puzzle rankings (all time), or getting Everest, that would be OK.

I also agree with mparisi that we should have to do some work, arithmetic by ourselves.

But then the average user would not see any form of celebration......and I think this site probably requires more of the average to high-average users:)

If I have the option of turning off celebrations, then have them on every puzzle. Thats fine, but people like me who try to do all the puzzles each day might be frustrated

Or how about one or two weekly puzzles with celebrations, for example the 9 x 9 on Tues and the difficult KS on Friday?

Leaving celebrations aside for a minute [lol] :

The size of the entered numbers has been increased in general.

Let me know if this is causing any new layout issues.

I don't see the problem with features like celebrations and a build-in calculator. the puzzle complete screen is closed with 1 click and there is no need to use a feature you don't want. I never solve the easy sudoku's, still the puzzle does not bother me being there.

Want to practice your math? Calculate the sum and check your answer with the build-in calculator.

The aim is more site traffic, so have the site interesting for a large community (without losing the current users of course).

A fresh design will help, stop with the gray background and get better colors for the navigation bars.

Some grey removed, and dropped the orange background of the "puzzle menu bar" .. [smile]

I found it strange at first, but now I’m used to it and I think it’s an improvement.

Yes, the orange background is gone.

I suppose I could add an account option "keep old colour scheme" or something (?)
