Post Unable to attempt today’s 8x8
When I went into todays timed puzzles I’m being told that I have already made 1 attempt at each puzzle size. I’ve absolutely no recollection of having attempted the 8x8. Just wondering if Patrick can check to see when I was supposed to have done this.

The logs show that you started an 8x8 timed puzzle at 15:13:39 (CEST) ?

(so 14:13:39 in Ireland)

Thanks Patrick. No idea how that happened. I must pay more attention in future!

One possibility is if the day before your browser crashed / the computer got switched off while the browser had that page open.

Then when you restart and open the browser again, it could try to restore your session (or ask to restore it first),
which would open all previously open pages in tabs. That would then automatically start a timed 8x8.

A bit convoluted, but possible.
