Post Re: consecutive days "puzzling"
My "streak" was interrupted with my daughter getting married in Oahu in March of 2011.....there was access to a laptop but, hey, my daughter (hopefully) is only getting married once [smile]

If I am to go on a holiday one of these days, I guess I'm going to have to buy a "laptop" or not and just take another break......either way, my streak WILL end in December of 2013 as my son will be married and he wants it to be in Maui.......so no computing.....PERIOD!

Do they have full kitchen units??......I require a full kitchen due to the many, many food allergies I have.

Don't think so but you can check their website:

http://www.fourseasons.com/maui/

They do beautiful weddings - my wife and I attended a family member's wedding there a few yrs. ago.

I was going to recommend you the "Grand Wailea" (very quite though a little bit far fm Airport), japanese property (logic in the Hawaii Islands), original famous paintings, sculptures fm Fernando Botero, very nice decoration, a nice japanese restaurant, "Tsunami", IIRC, well the buffet for breakfast has a lot of raw (and cold) fishes and seafood but also american breakfast. Since a wedding does not represent a long staying you may agree with the hotel's kitchen for the meals (they are very very kind, I do not think they have kitchenette in the rooms). BTW, here perhaps you could find the appropriate atmosphere for the Killer Sudokus :-) .

Post Re: consecutive days "puzzling"
I was going to make a comment on mparisi's longevity and how he has 2 streaks of a year or more. I checked the all time rankings and saw that, at most, 9 days were missed. Impressive.

But even more impressive is that sjs34 has 984 consecutive days solving AND 984 days since registration. Wow. I don't think I've had cell phone/internet connectivity for 984 consecutive days, much less the stamina to solve these puzzles every day no matter what. Again, Impressive. Congratulations 2 weeks early on hitting 1000.
