Also, your 1000th best time on a 5x5 might be good for 4th place place today? Those days when I get a new person top ten time it _might_ be good enough for 4th place. (I enjoy the timed puzzles but don't excel at them.) That makes your times today all the more impressive.
Pretty impressive! The 7.086 s I got in the timed 4 x 4 is my all-time #3 (after 5,000+ tries) and my only time ever below 7 s was 06.746

Re: not such a bad day today :-)
Right...
My best day so far was a personal 2nd best, 11.473 (and 4th best, 12.187) on 4x4's; best (33.526) and 4th best (37.366) on 5x5's; and 3rd best (72.553) on 6x6's.
Of course, that pales in comparison to your times, and for the number of times you beat out.

I almost beat that today! Today was the third day in a row that I got a sub-8 on 4x4s (which I had never done before that ) - I got my first sub-7 on a miniblock (6.897 seconds). You start to get on a roll, don't you? Because today I also got my third-best time on 5x5s (21.284) and my seventh-best (and one of my only sub-minute times) on 6x6s (57.46).
