Re: 10 million coming up...
I solved the first two already but I am having trouble finding the cage borders in the 6x6. What I think it is: 23+:a1, a2, a3, b3, c3 12x:b1, b2, c1, c2 19+:d1, d2, e1, f1, f2 2:e2 (so big right?) and also a5 18+:d3, e3, f3, f4 150x:a4, b4, b5, c5 96x:c4, d4, e4, e5, e6 3::f5, f6 5+:a6, b6 120x:c6, d5, d6 Is this right? Thanks, marblevolcano

Re: 10 million coming up...
Hello marblevolcano,
You have got it right all except for the 23+ cage: That cage also includes c1 and c2 while the 12x cage is only b1 and b2.

Re: 10 million coming up...
I've done the first few puzzles and it feels strange going back to pen and paper, but will probably get me hooked on doing more book puzzles, so excellent marketing strategy!
For me, the key to the 6 x 6 was the b1 b2 cage, which has to be 2,6 or 3,4. But the first 3 rows must add up to 63 and 2,6 would force f4 to be 7, so it has to be 3,4.

Re: 10 million coming up...
I managed to complete the 15x15 this afternoon, but when I went to submit it, I got an error message. I checked my solution and found I had a comma at the end of one of the rows. So I deleted this and re-submitted. But I got the same message telling me that I appeared to have submitted an incorrect solution. Is this because my original submission was incorrect, or is there some protocol that must be used when submitting double digit numbers?
I was convinced that my solution was correct, so I transcribed all the numbers into a spreadsheet and checked that the totals for each column and row added to 120. Then I tried copying the spreadsheet into the solutions page and, surprise, surprise, it was accepted as a correct answer.
Now I have to revisit the 12x12 as I have twice run into a dead end. As for the 17x17, I haven't even looked at that yet...

Re: 10 million coming up...
Is there a time limit on these? Or will it eventually show up as a link on everyone's settings page? I enjoyed the puzzles, btw. I think the 15x15 was probably the most difficult - the 17x17 was just really, really big.

Re: 10 million coming up...
Finally got around to submitting the 17 x 17. Now I've no more book puzzles to do.
Any suggestions as to which book I should buy if I start to get withdrawal symptoms?

Re: 10 million coming up...
Another big milestone is coming in just a couple days - Mparisi is about to reach 200,000 points! (This has been mentioned in other places recently but I couldn't find where) 200,000 is a very impressive number. Congrats to Mparisi for their dedication!
