removing the old number pad?
How do people feel about removing the old number pad?
(the one shown on the left in your account settings)

Re: removing the old number pad?
I prefer the new one. I would be fine if the old one were deprecated.

Re: removing the old number pad?
Could've done this already of course: out of the people who solved a puzzle during the past 3 months, 31 use the old number pad, and 1488 the new one (or no number pad, of course). And among those 31 are many of the "old guard" (not sure if the Dutch expression "oude garde" translates literally)

Re: removing the old number pad?
" Old guard" sounds about right. But extrapolating to current American popular thought -- "Old guard lives matter."

Re: removing the old number pad?
When I did the puzzles on a laptop, I used the old number pad for 12 x 12s and 15 x 15s, at least for the initial set up of the puzzle. I was constantly scrolling up and down to use the new number pad on large puzzles.
Now that I use an iPad Pro, I use the new number pad exclusively.

You know about the thing that allows you to change the cell size for the puzzles, right?

Re: removing the old number pad?
I do not know how to change cell size on a lap top. I can do this on a tablet by pinching.
I am older and want cells big enough so that I can read the list of possible numbers. In a 15 x 15 puzzles, that list can be long.

Re: removing the old number pad?
It's in the "settings" page at the bottom right of the screen (below the puzzle on the gray bar). You can change the cell size that way.

I think I had played with it in the past, then I set it at what I like (Large) and left it.
