I am also coming down to the final few puzzles. I am still missing A2X10 (I've scribbled giant x's over it in my annoyance), A2V10, A2V1 (Which I don't think I will ever solve without help), A2E13, A2G5, and A2E10.
Wow, I just realized that I have only 6 puzzles left. On the plus side, I recently got Volume 1, which I might already be more than halfway done with [biggrin]

I agree with you about A2V1 - I haven't spent that long on it so far, but the attempts I have made have not put any kind of a dent into the puzzle. I would be hopeful of eventually solving all the other puzzles, but V1 and S13 are two of the most difficult puzzles I've ever attempted and I'm not confident that I will ever solve either of them. It won't stop me from trying, however!

I've been plugging away at APII, but it's been heavy going for the last few puzzles. I finally solved A2X11 (17x17) today, but I'd say I was working on it for nearly a week (on and off)!

I've only two remaining now - A2V1 and A2S13. I've lost count of the number of times I've got stuck on A2S13, but I'm going to try to get A2V1 completed and then I'll tackle it again.

A2V1 completed just now. Only A2S13 to go! [scared] [unsure]

Amazing! I went back to A2S13 and finally solved it! [cool] [smile]

I've 26 puzzles left to solve in book III, so that's my next target. I've also almost 100 Killer Sudoku left to do, so plenty to keep me occupied over the next couple of months.

A2S13
A2V5
A2V10

I'm currently on holidays in Portugal and don't have access to the books. I know I found that puzzle particularly challenging, but can't remember how I finally solved it. It may have just been by brute force/scenario testing.

FINALLY! I solved A2V1 by figuring out the proper combination in the top right 1- cage.
What a relief that is... but now I have no unsolved book puzzles... I guess I need a new book. What a shame.
