Re: 8x8 timed
I also (almost) got a personal best too, and the second time I ever got under 5 seconds (though only barely - 4.98)! This is weird...

Re: 8x8 timed
Did it have a 3-cell 18x cage in the top left with a single-cell 2 cage, a 3-cell 9+ cage in the bottom left, and an 8x cage in the center?
The solution was 2341 3214 4123 1432
At least I think so... the 23/32 in the top left could be switched.

Re: 4x4 personal best
Two days ago I would have beaten my personal best 6x6 by over 5 seconds except it was on the 6x6 easy and not on a timed 6x6. I know the easies are often easier than the timeds but I've never seen a discrepancy that large.

Re: 4x4 personal best
Did a 13.68.....bested last time by 0.72 sec.....probably will be good for about the 40th spot.....kinda a "downer" as I will never be able to get to the high value positions......which makes me want to say that there used to be a fairly level playing field on this site until the new regime of timed puzzles which really only benefit less than 10 of all the users of this site.....a bit "discriminating" (yeah, I know, "if you don't like it then don't do it")......do not like it ( but complaining about it is not really going to help----just had to get it "off my chest") .....new low of 13.637
