Re: what should volume IV have?
Just to throw in my two cents worth, the new points system means that this book is worth a lot less points in total than the other Advanced Puzzles books. It leaves me feeling a little bit shortchanged.
While I can see the logic of relating the number of points to the difficulty level, maybe a multiplier of 3 (instead of 2) would be fairer and would bring the total number of points available a bit closer to the total available in the other books.

Re: what should volume IV have?
I personally like the idea of fewer rather than greater points per puzzle...

Thanks, I did test it, but on a 1 star puzzle only I think.. will check and fix edit: the testing I had done on my local PC, and on the live server I had forgotten to load the star ratings of the puzzles... fixed now

Re: what should volume IV have?
Patrick, Do you know how many points are available for Vol IV?
I could do the work myself, but I thought I would ask to save myself the effort.
Thank you, E-girl

Yes, it's one database query for me This should be 1070 points. The distribution: 1 star: 4 2 stars: 20 3 stars: 17 4 stars: 36 5 stars: 46 6 stars: 11 Seeing this I realize I'm counting the twin puzzles twice ( and I included the "warmup" puzzles..) will do the numbers tomorrow

Re: what should volume IV have?
Thank you. I appreciate the effort. I know that I like knowing how much a book is worth. I suspect others do to. And I would like to be able to have complete data on the post that lists all the books.
