I have reached a solution on this but the site does not accept it and gives a spurious bad match between two "1"s that are actually OK???

In a browser window, start writing your forum post that is to include image.

Now go to http://www.imgur.com, click "New Post", then "Choose Photo/Video"
and select your image file.

1) it should upload automatically
2) on the next page, hover over the top right of the image, and click on the three dots (...), select "Get share links",
then click the "Copy link" button next to the "BBCode (Forums)" entry
3) go to your forum post, place the cursor where you want the image, and press Ctrl+V

I remember having that same 'solution'.
However, in a Killer sudoku it is not allowed to have two equal numbers in the same cage.
It took me about 20 seconds to solve the puzzle after I stumbled into this mistake, I only had to swap a few numbers.

They clearly are in the same "18+" cage, no?

Hi Allan

I’m afraid they are. The cage covers the cells 5d, 6c, 6d and 6e. There is a 1 in both 5d and 6c.

Oh. So you can't have the same digit within a calc cage even if they are in different 3x3 cages?

Yes, there was some confusion about this in the past:
